At that time he expressed his desire to shake hands with one Indian under the age of 30 and a PR agency is hired to find the eligible candidate. The agency runs a nationwide hunt to find that one appropriate aspirant and shortlists six for the final fight.
The character-driven plot takes the narrative forward as each entrant exemplifies his or her unique traits and personal motivation to meet Bush. Maya Roy (Konkona Sen Sharma) is a novelist and a divorcee with feminist philosophies. Kapil Dev (Anand Tiwari) is a Gujarati stock-broker who cannot think beyond business. Rohit Seth (Vivek Gomber) is an accent trainer at a call-center who was deported from US for being an illegal immigrant. Ramesh S (Namit Das) is a nerdy software engineer from Bangalore. Ajay Karlekar (Satchit Puranik) is a fundamentalist under the garb of being a social worker. Archana Kapoor (Ira Dubey) is the self-obsessed brainless daughter of a billionaire.
